Amanda Atwood, PT, DPT
Physical Therapist
Doctorate of Physical Therapy
Amanda Atwood is a fellow in training, currently pursuing board certification as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) in Physical Therapy, with expected completion in 2025. Working in an outpatient clinic she addresses a wide array of neuro-musculoskeletal dysfunctions, pain, as well as facilitating rehabilitation and recovery after surgical procedures.
A key focus is incorporating the patient's wants and needs with clinical expertise and the most recent physical therapy research in guiding examination, treatment, and creating a plan of care with each individual patient. Treatment interventions include a mixture of manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, resistance training, and other therapeutic interventions to address pain, tightness, weakness, and other limitations to improve function and mobility. She feels patient education is also a key component of every treatment plan.
Amanda resides in Eagle River and enjoys spending her time with family/friends, Tango dancing, as well as participating in as many outdoor activities as time allows.
