Emily Baumann, PT, DPT
Doctorate of Physical Therapy
Emily graduated from the University of Pittsburgh first in 2014 with a Bachelor's degree in Rehabilitation Science, and again in 2019 with a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. She worked as a traveling therapist prior to moving to Alaska in 2020, and has been providing outpatient physical therapy services in Anchorage ever since.
Emily is passionate about collaborating with patients to personalize their rehabilitation process in order to meet their full potential and achieve their goals. She is interested in treating general orthopedic conditions, sports injuries, post-surgical care, and concussions. She utilizes evidence based treatments including manual therapy, strength and mobility exercises, neuromuscular reeducation, and functional movement training. She believes everyone deserves access to high-quality care, and has experience volunteering at pro bono clinics in Pittsburgh, Anchorage, and internationally.
Emily lives in Anchorage spending time with family, friends, and her five chickens. She enjoys biking, cross country skiing, pack rafting, gardening, and woodworking.
