OUR SERVICES

Our therapists have extensive continuing education in multiple specialties and advanced training and certifications in manual therapy that assist in providing quality care. Watch our video to learn more about what we do.

  • These are a set of hands on therapy skills your therapist may use to treat joint stiffness, joint or muscle pain, as well as regional nerve pain. Manual therapies such as these vary from gentle passive joint movements to high velocity stretches.

  • Trigger-point dry needling is a minimally invasive procedure where a fine solid filament needle is inserted into the skin and muscle. It is aimed at myofascial trigger points (MTrP) which are hyperirritable spots in skeletal muscle that are associated with a hypersensitive palpable nodule in a taut band.

  • A one on one skilled strengthening method using specialized equipment to regain normalized joint mobility, improved flexibility, and enhanced core strength allowing for improved stability of joints and recovery of balance.

  • A technique that combines low intensity exercise with blood flow occlusion that produces similar results to high intensity training such as increased muscle strength, decreased pain, and improved joint function. May speed up recovery and desired therapeutic outcomes when performed 15 min or more 2-3x/wk.

  • The process of gaining greater body awareness while connected to electrical sensors that help you receive information about the quality of muscle contractions.

  • Active Release Techniques and Soft Tissue treatment (ART) are manual therapy techniques to certain soft tissue structures of the body. ART soft tissue mobilization is based on scientific evidence that muscles, nerves, blood vessels, and connective tissue develop irregular tissue quality resulting in various injuries. Evidence shows these tissues can improve with skilled techniques for improved tissue perfusion and extensibility.

  • Focused manual therapies as well as exercise prescription which isolate the specific region of injury allowing for improved tissue tolerance to loading and increased core stabilization. This skilled therapy approach is evidence based to promote long term recovery from spinal injuries.

  • Sport performance rehabilitation for athletes of all ages includes training the athlete in improved sport specific mechanics/techniques while guiding them through acute injury, post surgical rehabilitation, or injury prevention.

  • Utilizing evidence based techniques our PT’s will provide a patient specific program for increasing strength, range of motion, and activity tolerance allowing individuals to return to optimal function, enhance their performance in sport, or recover with increased activity tolerance post operatively.

SPECIALTY PROGRAMS

  • Skilled observation of the entire body during ambulation analyzing dynamic postures and coordination of movements throughout the spine, pelvis and lower limbs in order to enhance efficacy and reduce tissue strain from walking to running gait speeds.

  • Evidence based treatment which focuses on reducing pain, returning to meaningful activities and/or work, learning techniques to overcome associated anxiety, depression, and systemic stress, reduce use of medications (when appropriate), and build confidence in self-management around your specific presentation of chronic pain.

  • Utilizing the latest evidence-based physical therapy services we assist everyone from childbearing mothers to peri-menopausal women, young athletes to postpartum mommas with wide ranging pelvic floor dysfunction including: incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, and sexual dysfunction.

  • Empowering women through education of the physiologic changes that the female body undergoes during pregnancy and postpartum. Teaching progressions and regressions for physical activity allowing for healthy active pregnancies and confident successful postpartum recoveries with return to sport.

  • Multidisciplinary approach including Vision rehabilitation. Vestibular rehabilitation. Aerobic exercise training that does not intensify symptoms. Balance testing and training. Return to sport specificity training.

  • Utilizing evidence based protocols and principles of progressive loading our team of physical therapists will provide comprehensive treatments to regain range of motion, motor activation and control, balance, and dynamic stability of your post surgical injury.

  • This approach to rehabilitation includes close monitoring of tissue tolerance to load regarding all the supporting structures of the spine. Focused strengthening and recovery of range of motion exercises allow for optimization of performance with a focused lens on desired outcomes for returning to dynamic control and movement in sport.
